TANCET 2013 EXAM TIPS

TANCET is the entry requirement exam for admission into MCA, MBA, M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch., M.Plan. programs offered in both University departments of Anna University and other institutes affiliated under ANNA University.

TANCET Exam is conducted separately for MCA., M.B.A, M.E.. M.Tech., M.Arch & M.Plan.

Exam pattern is objective type. Syllabus is UG syllabus .

Exam has negative marking also. Part I & Part II are compulsory. In Part III there will be 14 categories, candidate has to choose his choice of section and write.

Since there is negative marks in the exam it is highly advisable not to shade answer if you are not suire about the right answer. Most of the students will try to check their luck by answering all the questions. That is wrong practice and certainly reduce your mark. Since the marks will be normalized even a increment / decrement of your marks by decimal value will affect your merit by 100s of rank.

Just shade the answer only if you are 100 % sure. Because your actual marks will not be affected by negative markings.

For mathematics try to muck up important 16 mark question & answer. I mean just look for previous mathematics semester question paper & muck up their answer. questions will come only from that.

For general part, casual preparation is enough. Already many of you must be preparing aptitude &  general English for Placements. That is more than enough to score decent mark.
